Guadalupe, which is the site of the Virgin Mother’s appearance in 1531. The
Metropolitan Cathedral is another landmark within Mexico. With its baroque and
neoclassical façade, the church is a classic example of architectural art
forms.
Another Mexican architectural masterpiece is the Chapultepec Castle, which
was once used as a presidential palace. The castle also contains the murals of

Huntress.
What would be a trip to Mexico without shopping for souvenirs? The Zona Rosa
or the Pink Zone are a shopping paradise. Within the same area are located
several restaurants, boutique squares, shops and hotels. Another enchanting
shopping district is the Alameda Park, which borders the Palace of Fine Arts.
History fanatics will also like traveling to Mexico’s notorious religious
city of Teotihuacan, the capital of pre-Aztec civilization. In Teotihuacan,
travelers will discover the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon, two
pyramids that face each other, providing a splendid view of the surrounding
landscape from the top.
